The Thunderbird Ceremony

A pseudo-indian mythological approach to turning into an eagle. My take on the made-up thunderbird ceremony -- where if you work at it long enough, YOU CHANGE INTO A THUNDERBIRD. In this pic, she's about 25% there so far.

Coloring is my nemesis. I chalk this try up to experiance. In my second excursion into watercoloring, I learned quite a lot on what not to do. Otherwise, I like it. . . because after the UNHOLY AMOUNT OF EFFORT it took, it's all I can do.

I do like the general scene composition, so at least I will be able to get to sleep tonight with that in mind.
